In response to the sharp increase in household bills set to hit in April, Dean Banks at The Pompadour is offering diners 25% off all food until the end of the month, to make dining out more accessible during a challenging financial period.

With gas and electricity prices rising by an average of 6.4%, and council tax in Edinburgh expected to climb by as much as 8%, many households will face tighter budgets this spring. To provide some relief, Dean Banks is giving guests the opportunity to enjoy a refined dining experience at a more affordable price.

The Pompadour’s signature tasting menu, usually priced at £105, will be available for just £78 throughout April. Guests can still expect the same high-quality dishes, celebrating Scotland’s finest ingredients, but at a reduced cost designed to ease financial pressures while still offering a reason to celebrate.

Chef Dean Banks said, “We understand that April can be a difficult month for many as essential costs rise. We want to offer an opportunity for our guests to enjoy an unforgettable meal without the added worry of expenses. Fresh, seasonal dining should be a treat, not a burden, and this offer allows us to give back to our loyal customers while welcoming new ones to experience The Pompadour.

“At the same time as individuals are faced with rising costs, businesses like ours are also feeling the strain from skyrocketing operational costs, including National Insurance hikes. More needs to be done to support both individuals and businesses struggling to make ends meet in the current economy. If we can do our part to provide relief, then the government should take action to help out where it is most needed.”

In addition to this special offer, other venues within the Dean Banks Group are also providing great value throughout spring, with ongoing menus designed to provide great value to customers. Diners at both locations of Dulse – Banks’ seafood-focused casual dining venues in Leith and the West End – can enjoy a 3-course lunch for £35.

In St Andrews, Banks’ flagship restaurant Haar offers a 3-course lunch menu for just £39 per person, while Dune next door is bringing back their much-loved lobster shack offering fresh, fully-loaded lobster rolls for just £12 every weekend throughout the Spring and Summer.

Guests are encouraged to book online at www.deanbanks.co.uk to take advantage of this limited-time offer.
