Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm is celebrating in style after winning three medals at the prestigious International Cider Challenge 2025 with Rattler Zero taking centre stage.
The family-run cyder maker struck silver with Rattler Zero, the innovative alcohol-free cyder redefining expectations of the category, while the refreshing Rattler Peach also claimed silver.
The farm’s much-loved Cornish Gold completed the medal haul with a bronze.
The ICC is recognised as one of the world’s toughest competitions. This year’s event attracted entries from 16 countries, with ciders subjected to a rigorous blind tasting by an international panel of judges.
Experts included producers, flavour analysts, cider journalists, independent retailers and supermarket buyers, making it one of the most respected awards in the industry.
Ciders are judged on appearance, aroma, flavour, mouthfeel and finish. Only those displaying exceptional quality and character are awarded medals.
- Rattler Zero (Silver): A standout in the fast-growing no- and low-alcohol category, Rattler Zero impressed judges with its crisp apple character, refreshing balance and full-bodied flavour – a true cyder experience without compromise.
- Rattler Peach (Silver): Launched as a bold new twist on the Rattler range, Peach wowed with its vibrant fruit notes, natural sweetness and juicy, thirst-quenching finish.
- Cornish Gold (Bronze): A timeless favourite, Cornish Gold was praised for its rounded character, smooth mouthfeel and heritage-led craftsmanship – a cyder steeped in Cornish tradition.
Joe Healey Managing Director at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, said: “To bring home medals for three different cyders at this level is a proud moment for everyone here.
“It shows the breadth of what we do from the innovation of Rattler Peach and Rattler Zero to the timeless appeal of Cornish Gold.
