This year, things are shuffling around, and Italian restaurants are stealing the spotlight for the first time. They’re rocking a whopping 8.5% of all restaurants in the UK. Right behind them are Indian joints at 8.4% and Chinese restaurants are bringing up the rear with 6.7%.

Craving pasta or pizza? A whopping 1,617 Italian restaurants have registered at the Companies House since 2022. An increase of 16,4%.
