MACMERRY300 – the successful Scottish operator behind leading lifestyle bar and restaurant Abandon Ship – will make their London debut in Covent Garden in early 2022.

The operator has chosen London for their third Abandon Ship location and 14th for the group. Their first Abandon Ship Bar opened in Dundee in 2019 followed by Glasgow in 2021.

Bringing their trademark urban style to London, fun lovers will enjoy their fully immersive destination bar which is a sensory explosion from the minute you enter.

The new 44 cover neon-lit bar and restaurant will marry together bold independent retail, incredible artwork, and the best of modern Scottish hospitality.

It will serve a drinks menu focussed on rums, bespoke cocktails, and Scottish favourites like Irn Bru and tattie scones.

MacMerry300 is undergoing a period of significant growth with a multitude of new openings expected for 2022. The group has a further six Abandon Ships planned to open across the UK.

Speaking about the upcoming launch, operations director, AJ McMenemy said:

“As a brand, growing our concept to something next level, the bright lights of London could be the only choice. There’s nothing quite like Abandon Ship anywhere. Bringing an inclusive ethos with art at heart; a passion for quality product, and a drive to share endless experiences night after night. Launching in London is our most significant milestone yet.”

Abandon Ship Bar is currently undergoing a transformation to its trademark style and is set to officially launch in January at 63 Neil St, Covent Garden.
