This September, Edinburgh’s Italian wine bar Divino Enoteca, is offering plenty for food and wine lovers to explore – from this month’s free wine tastings inspired by Europe’s royal courts to a new four-course tasting menu for the month, celebrating the flavours of late summer before the seasons turn
This September, Divino Enoteca is giving Edinburgh food and wine lovers the chance to indulge in two unique experiences – free wine tastings celebrating Europe’s regal drinking traditions and a specially curated four-course tasting menu showcasing the flavours of late summer.

On Sunday 7 and 21 September, the Old Town wine bar welcomes guests to immerse themselves in an afternoon of vinous history with a complimentary tasting inspired by Europe’s royal courts. Four celebrated wines will be poured, highlighting labels once enjoyed by kings and nobles.
Among them is Fiano di Avellino Pietramara by I Favati, a nutty and elegant white known to have graced the table of the King of Naples, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano by Valdipiatta, a Tuscan favourite of Renaissance aristocracy. Each selection will be served with small seasonal bites from the kitchen, creating a pairing that balances history with authentic Italian flavour in Divino’s atmospheric stone-vaulted setting.

For those wanting a broader seasonal journey, Divino’s September tasting menu provides a celebration of late-summer Italian cuisine across four courses.
