Today Chivas Regal, the luxury Scotch whisky brand from the Chivas Brothers portfolio, unveils its first clear spirit drink: Chivas Regal Crystalgold.
An innovation and technical breakthrough for the brand, years in the making, Chivas Regal Crystalgold is created through a bespoke filtration process that extracts the colour from golden, oak-aged spirit. The result is a crystal-clear, colourless and ultra-smooth liquid that retains the rich depth of flavour consistent with the Chivas Regal house style, while offering the versatility and mixability of a clear spirit.
Crafted by Chivas Regal’s Master Blender, Sandy Hyslop, Chivas Regal Crystalgold’s foundation is a bespoke, exclusive blend which is refined through a pioneering process involving special temperature conditions and precisely measured flow rates. Each parameter was carefully calibrated through extensive experimentation, introducing an entirely new approach to Chivas Regal’s blending and filtration technique.
By pairing the brand’s signature depth of flavour with the lightness and versatility of a clear spirit, Chivas Regal Crystalgold unlocks new possibilities for how and when the brand can be enjoyed. Its crystal-clear profile lends itself to longer, fresher drinks, opening the door to increasingly popular early evening occasions*, traditionally the domain of clear spirits like tequila. For bartenders, it offers a distinctive new tool for crafting modern, creative serves with the more complex and multilayered taste profile generally associated with that of a dark, oak-aged spirit.

Chivas Regal Crystalgold will be available for purchase from October 2025, at an RRP of £51, from a range of retailers including Amazon, with its official debut taking place ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix on 30th September.
