Step inside a world of wonder this season as Somewhere by Nico announces its newest immersive cocktail experience, “A World of Pure Imagination,” inspired by the beloved story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Launching from today, 26th March, in Edinburgh and Glasgow, the new theme invites guests to indulge in a playful, chocolate-filled adventure where imagination and flavour collide.
Designed to capture the whimsical spirit of the iconic tale, “A World of Pure Imagination” transforms Somewhere by Nico into a fantastical setting where guests can expect theatrical storytelling, inventive cocktails, and sweet surprises throughout the experience. From decadent flavours to imaginative presentation, the menu celebrates the magic and curiosity that have made the story a timeless favourite.
As part of this enchanting new menu, Somewhere by Nico has partnered with COCO Chocolatier for an exciting collaboration that brings an extra touch of chocolate magic to the experience. Every guest who books the experience will receive a small chocolate bar made exclusively for it. The chocolate bar uses premium Colombian single-origin cocoa crafted at source, which COCO Chocolatier then passionately transforms into chocolate bars in its factory near Edinburgh. Each chocolate bar is presented in bespoke packaging designed especially for “A World of Pure Imagination.”
But the magic doesn’t stop there. Hidden within a limited number of these exclusive chocolate bars will be 20 Gold Tickets. Guests lucky enough to discover one will receive their entire cocktail experience free of charge for two people (up to £100 value), adding an extra layer of excitement to the adventure.
The surprises continue even after the Gold Tickets are found. All 20 Gold Ticket winners will automatically enter a final prize draw during the last week of the menu. One lucky winner will receive the ultimate reward: a 12-Month Somewhere by Nico Season Pass. This extraordinary prize allows the winner and a guest to attend every Somewhere by Nico experience over a 12-month period completely free of charge, with optional cocktails and snacks included at each visit.

The experience features five cocktails inspired by beloved moments from the story: The Gold Ticket, Inside the Chocolate Factory, The Inventing Room, Everlasting Gobstoppers, and Three-Course Dinner Chewing Gum. Each drink is served with a unique, theatrical presentation designed to bring the story to life and let your imagination run wild.
