Ten Edinburgh and Glasgow restaurants have launched new kids’ menus for the summer holidays in aid of local children’s hospital charities.
Edinburgh’s Badger & Co, McLarens on the Corner and Cold Town House; as well as Glasgow’s Church on the Hill and Smokin Fox are amongst the top family-friendly venues offering ‘little foodies’ the star treatment with an enhanced selection of tasty new meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner; as well as new activity packs and a chef’s hat to wear.
Leading Scottish hospitality group, Signature, which owns and operates all ten venues is donating a combined total of £4,000 to both Edinburgh and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity from its new kids’ menus over the summer.
Tasty new dishes on the kids’ menu at Badger & Co this summer include steak stew, mac and cheese, and cheeseburgers. Highlights of the new kids’ menu at McLarens on the Corner include bangers and mash, and fish and chips.
Cold Town House is taking its new kids’ menu to new heights on its Castle-view rooftop terrace with child-sized portions of the most popular dishes from the adult menu, including chargrilled flat iron steak, crispy chicken caesar salad and sticky toffee pudding. Kids’ pizzas, chicken nuggets and ice cream sundaes are also up for grabs.
All younger guests will also receive complimentary crudites and dips on arrival to help keep them busy, as well as unlimited complimentary draught soft drinks.
The new kids’ activity packs across all Signature venues now include ‘Play in Choc’ boxes containing collectable 3D puzzle toys; animal fun facts cards; and vegan, organic and allergy-free chocolate treats.
