Café Calton in Edinburgh will host a special Burns Night Dinner on Saturday 24th January 2026, welcoming guests to celebrate Scotland’s national poet in one of the most distinctive and awe-inspiring spaces in the country.

Perched on Edinburgh’s iconic Calton Hill and surrounded by world-famous monuments, Café Calton offers a setting unlike any other in Scotland. Elevated above the city with sweeping views across the capital’s historic skyline, the venue provides a dramatic and atmospheric backdrop for a night dedicated to Scottish culture, poetry and tradition.

Burns Night at Café Calton will bring together time-honoured ceremony and contemporary Scottish dining, delivering a celebration that is both authentic and memorable. Guests will enjoy a carefully curated evening that honours Robert Burns’ legacy while embracing the restaurant’s modern approach to food and hospitality. The three course dinner in collaboration with Loch Lomond Malts is priced at £45 per person includes Hot Smoked Salmon for starters, Chicken Supreme with Haggis for mains and Cranachan for dessert and the evening will include a welcome piper, an ‘Address to the Haggis’ and whisky tasting. Vegetarian alternatives are available.
