One of Edinburgh’s most popular restaurants has launched a ‘saucy’ new ‘gravy fondue’ experience to help romantic couples get in the mood for love this Valentine’s weekend (Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 February).

Cold Town House in the city’s Grassmarket has created the new menu for couples to share together at this most romantic time of the year.

The gravy fondue sharing menu offers a choice of turkey, beef, chicken, nut or veggie roast with all the trimmings, including pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and roast potatoes, as well as a big steaming bowl of famous Cold Town House gravy for more intimate double dipping.

Nikk Stevens, general manager of Edinburgh’s Cold Town House, said:

“We wanted to create a unique dining experience for romantic couples to share together this Valentine’s Day and we think our gravy fondue is sure to get hearts racing.

“Our customers love our famous gravy and fun new ways to enjoy tasty food, so this is the perfect menu for couples to embrace the food of love and double dip together.”

The Valentine’s gravy fondue menu at Cold Town House is priced at £12.50 per person for couples to share.

A Sunday Roast gravy fondue menu at Cold Town House is now also available for groups of four or six to share together on Sundays only.

Cold Town House is part of the Edinburgh-based Signature Group, a leading Scottish hospitality company made up of over 20 bars, restaurants, hotels and a brewery, including Edinburgh’s McLarens on the Corner, Copper Blossom, The Rutland, The Huxley, Kyloe and Badger & Co.

Priced at £12 per cocktail, ‘It’s Cuffin Season’ contains Whitley Neil Raspberry Gin, fraise de bois, fresh lemon juice and grenadine.
