Since the brand has been taken on by Huffmans Premium Drinks Distributor, craft drink suppliers to premium on and off trade outlets such as bars, restaurants, farm and bottle shops, sales have increased by 20% with bottles being requested from new stockists new areas including Thurso and Stranraer.  The distributor is selling the Angus gin via their online outlets the Craft Bottle Shop and Masters of Malt.

Patti Smith “We are thrilled our sales and our availability across Scotland is increasing, and less than a year since we launched.  There are so many gins out there, many with the backing of established distilleries behind them but we are the epitome of an independent craft gin.  We came up with the idea around our kitchen table of creating a delicious gin using ingredients from our own garden so to see this growth is a fantastic result.”

Jill Smith said “I’m delighted our gin has been so well received not only by those enjoying it but also by industry experts on its own merit. The support of local businesses and the community has been amazing, this is a very exciting time for us as we take Smithies Gin Company to more and more people who love not just good but great gin.”
