Family-run Scottish bakery Brownings the Bakers has expanded its partnership with Sainsbury’s, introducing three new traditional scone lines to selected stores across Scotland.
From this week, shoppers can pick up Brownings Tattie Scones (6-pack), Sultana Oven Scones (4-pack) and Cherry Oven Scones (4-pack), now available on shelves following their launch on Thursday 4 June.
The new additions build on the strong performance of Brownings’ existing morning goods and pie ranges within Sainsbury’s, which have proven popular with customers since first being introduced. The latest listings mark a further step in the growing relationship between the Kilmarnock-based bakery and the national retailer.

Managing Director Declan McMahon said the expansion reflects both customer demand and the success of the partnership to date.
