Rare Find, the award-winning Edinburgh-based independent bottler, has announced the launch of its latest collection of single cask whiskies, placing a spotlight on the distinctive coastal character of Glenglassaugh.

Building on strong momentum throughout 2026 and growing demand for its curated releases, the new collection brings together three Glenglassaugh expressions. Each has been finished in a different cask, demonstrating how wood can unlock new dimensions within the same spirit.

Glenglassaugh’s identity is shaped by its coastal Highland location, where land and sea meet to create a spirit known for orchard fruit notes, honeyed sweetness and a gentle maritime freshness. This naturally expressive profile provides a versatile base for cask experimentation, something Rare Find has explored in depth with this latest release.

The collection features three distinct cask finishes, each offering a unique interpretation of the distillery’s house style. A 10-year-old expression has been finished for 19 months in a first-fill Foursquare rum barrel, lending tropical warmth and added richness. Alongside it are two 9-year-old whiskies, both finished for 11 months in octave casks: one in first-fill Madeira, delivering spice and depth, and another in first-fill ruby port, bringing vibrant fruit character to the fore.

As with all Rare Find bottlings, each whisky is presented at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added colouring, preserving the integrity of both spirit and cask.

James Zorab, Whisky Supply Manager for Rare Find, commented: “Glenglassaugh has such a distinctive spirit style – vibrant, fruit-forward and with a subtle coastal freshness – which makes it incredibly exciting to explore through different cask finishes. This collection is about showing the versatility of that spirit and how carefully selected wood can reveal completely different facets of its character. Together, they represent exactly what Rare Find seeks to create – exceptional single casks that offer something distinctive, memorable and genuinely worth discovering.”

The Rare Find Glenglassaugh Collection will be available from selected stockists from 30 July 2026.
