Graham’s Family Dairy Partners with Top Sports University to Fuel Elite Athletes

Graham’s Family Dairy, has joined forces with the world’s top university for sports-related subjects* as its Official Protein Dairy Partner, providing high-quality, natural protein products to fuel the university’s elite athletes.

Scotland’s largest family-run dairy, which produces a variety of high-protein, natural dairy products, will work closely with the Loughborough Sport nutrition team.

The university adopts a ‘food first’ approach to nutrition, prioritising whole foods as a primary source of fuel and nutrients for its athletes who train and compete at elite standards worldwide.


Loughborough University has a history of success at the world’s elite sporting events and Paralympic Games; affiliated athletes secured a total of 35 medals across both Paris games this summer.

19 medals were won at the Paralympic Games – seven gold, six silver, and six bronze, while 16 medals were won earlier during the first phase of the Paris Games (four gold, four silver, and eight bronze).

Andrew Shepherd, Performance Nutrition Lead for Loughborough Sport, said: “Dairy protein, which is a complete protein source, remains a popular choice for athletes due to its natural composition and effectiveness.

“For optimal muscle recovery post-exercise, athletes should consume around 20 grams of protein within 30 minutes of training.
